Shaanxi and Jiangsu and Zhejiang to conduct electric power cooperation

The Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Energy Administration Zhang Shenliang led the Coal Power Division, the Energy Integration Division and the Provincial Energy Group. From July 2nd to 5th, they went to Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces to negotiate on power transmission and inspected the ZNEC Jiaxing Power Plant on the spot. Nanjing Jinling Power Plant understands the production and operation of coal-fired and gas-fired generating units.

Through the discussion, it was unanimously believed that Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces have developed economies and strong electricity demand, but due to resources and environmental impacts, thermal power construction is limited and the power consumption gap is relatively large; Shaanxi is rich in resources and centrally located, and has a large-scale coal-fired electricity integration thermal power base. The favorable conditions are that the two sides have a good basis for cooperation and space for development, and preliminary opinions have been reached on the scale and method of power transmission and the ways in which energy companies of both sides have cooperated. In the near future, further negotiation will be conducted, and the framework agreement for electric power cooperation will be drafted as soon as possible. Special reports will be jointly presented to the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, and the State Grid Corporation of China for inclusion in the national power grid plan being prepared by the country, which will lead to the “West-to-East Electricity Transmission” of coal in Shaanxi Province. The electric base will start implementation as soon as possible.
