Look at Huawei's digital intellectual property blockchain technology patent

According to the latest patent application issued by the State Intellectual Property Office on Tuesday, Huawei, a company based in Shenzhen, applied for a patented invention, which said it could use blockchain technology to support the verification function of the P2P content distribution network.

The patent was first submitted in August 2016. The entire system can store the verification information of the digital content on the blockchain. When the parties initiate a download request through the peer-to-peer network, the system will have their private key, or The license used to access the content matches the verification information.

According to the patent application, the content is allowed to be downloaded only after the verification request has reached a consensus on the blockchain. According to Huawei, the essence of this technology is an intellectual property solution that protects the dissemination of digital content over peer-to-peer networks.

At this stage, although it is still to be observed whether Huawei's patent application will be approved, at least one point is clear: Huawei is further developing and applying blockchain technology. Interestingly, as early as October 2016, Huawei joined the Superbook Blockchain Alliance, which is two months after the patent application.

In addition, Huawei is also one of the early adopters of the super-book Sawtooth software, which is currently developing a decompiler.
