Artificial intelligence in the eyes of sci-fi writer Hao Jingfang: the bubble is inevitable

However, artificial intelligence is also attracting some concerns about its foaming. At the same time, she believes that other technologies such as biotechnology, the Internet of Things, and the recent hot blockchain will have an impact on our future life, but it will not be as fast as artificial intelligence in a short period of time. It won't be so wide.

Hao Jingfang also revealed to reporters that after "The Other Side of Man", her next book will be a new field unrelated to artificial intelligence: the process of exploring the origin of human civilization.

Hao Jingfang: I participated in the summer Davos and came to Switzerland for the first time.

Hao Jingfang: I have three forums tomorrow. The theme of the first morning is the new vision of the economy. Hao Jingfang: Artificial intelligence is a new field. There are certainly many companies that are starting a business. There must be a bubble, but its bubble is no bigger than other industries. Some areas have been much larger than the artificial intelligence bubble. In the field of intelligence, there are still some relatively solid enterprises doing technological development. I have also researched several artificial intelligence enterprises in China before, and artificial intelligence will soon be applied to many aspects of production and life, such as manufacturing, on the Internet. Customer service, sales, data collection and processing, education, medical care, finance, etc., these areas can really see the application of artificial intelligence, so I don't think it is a false bubble, but some that we can really see the change. field.

Reporter: In your opinion, what will be the biggest change in the human lifestyle in the future? Will it be artificial intelligence?

Hao Jingfang: Artificial intelligence will be a big field. It can enter a lot of work scenes, and some aspects will be better than humans. For example, customer service, sales, etc. will do better than humans, it will change. An important force in our economy and life. There are other areas that will have an impact on our future lives, but it may not be as fast, such as biotechnology, the Internet of Things, and the recently hot blockchain, but I think these areas will be for a long time. It is a small scope, and their application will be restricted by social systems, political environment, etc., but artificial intelligence will indeed be applied on a large scale in the foreseeable time.

Reporter: Will your future creative plan be related to artificial intelligence?

Hao Jingfang: I just published a new book, The Other Side of People, in November 2017. This book is all about artificial intelligence. There are six science fiction novels and two popular science articles. Science fiction is a fantasy from near to far. The state of intelligence, the popular science article is to introduce the extent to which artificial intelligence has developed, and how we should improve ourselves and how to educate the next generation in the era of artificial intelligence.
