L-com Introduces PoE-Free RJ45 Socket New Product

21-Technology L-com Global Connectivity ("L-com") today announced a new line of RJ45 sockets that can be terminated with cables without any tools, including both shielded and unshielded models.

The quick and easy termination design of these new Category 5, Category 6 and Category 6 tool-free sockets saves installers time and money. In addition, each outlet is EIA/TIA568-A and B color coded to ensure fast and foolproof installation.

Other features include an integral dust cover that protects the RJ45 socket; a back-end card line structure to prevent accidental disconnection and PoE+ (802.3at) compliance.
